The Mount Maunganui Blues, Brews & BBQ's festival is one of the regions iconic events and is not to be missed. As the festival has matured, it is being positioned as a celebration of 'the Blues' and this is borne out this year with the introduction of two new stages and an even bigger variety of Blues entertainment. And while we still boast the largest selection of fine ales in the country, the emphasis is now on craft and permium beers only. New Zealand is increasingly being recongised for producing some excellent beers and Blues, Brews & BBQ's pays homage to this craft. So what better way to spend the afternoon than listening to some great 'Blues', sampling a few craft ales and enjoying culinary cuisine from some of the regions best chefs?

The festival is organised by the community service group, Tauranga Round Table to raise funds for local charities, community organisations and youth activities.
